Here are some quick facts about GPS Ready irrigation control panels from Valley Irrigation.
- The GPS Ready PRO2 Pivot Control Panel and the GPS Ready AutoPilot Linear Control Panel are currently available from Valley dealers. The GPS Ready Select2 Pivot Control Panel will be available in January of 2009.
- The GPS Ready control panels perform all of the necessary GPS position calculations right in the control panel, eliminating the need for external computers on the machine.
- The panels are compatible with different types of GPS receivers, including WAAS-enabled receivers.

BaseStation2
Monitor and control your irrigation equipment 24-7
BaseStation2 is a centralized irrigation management system for your office computer, custom-designed to suit your needs by your local Valley Dealer and Valmont Engineering. Whether you are looking to monitor one to several irrigation machines, BaseStation2 gives you flexibility and reporting mechanisms like no other. The new BaseStation2 is a full computer equipment package with preloaded software that functions with new and existing Valmont equipment.
With BaseStation2, you can, among other things:
- Remotely monitor your irrigation equipment 24/7 using real-time updates.
- Control your Valley Pro panel from your computer.
- Turn your pivots off or on.
- Control your end guns.
- Switch direction of your pivot.
- Change pivot speed.
- Change water depth.
- Receive alarms by phone or your computer indicating a change in operating status of your pivots and other irrigation equipment.
Tracker™
Monitor and control your pivot for as little as 50¢ a day.*
Use Valley Tracker to remotely communicate with your pivots and linears via Web, Smartphone, or cell phone.
The Tracker Mobile feature uses Smartphone technology to retrieve monitoring and control options from the Valley Tracker. It provides irrigators with additional visual access to irrigation information from the convenience of their Smartphone.

A HOT SHOT CONTROLLER is a wireless device that will replace a 2 wire control cable from the pivot to the well pump. These units use a VHF frequency to penetrate through trees and crop foliage.
A HOT SHOT CONTROLLER can be used on all major brands of pivot.

Pivot Point
Remote Irrigation Monitor/Control
- Pivot Point is a GPS driven irrigation monitor/control system that offers superior features in design and reliability. Pivot Point works with ANY brand of pivot. WAAS powered GPS gives you monitor/control capabilities that other products just can’t provide. All the monitor/control functions are built into each Pivot Point unit. However, you decide which features you want to use. We designed Pivot Point on the premise of, what you need today, may be not be the same as what you need down the road.
- Pivot Point mounts at the end tower and is powered by the pivot’s end tower box or by lithium ion batteries. This allows our monitor/control device to operate independently from your existing pivot control panel.
- Pivot Point functionality allows you significantly increase the capabilities of what you already have in the field without any changes to your existing pivot equipment. You can track position, speed, direction, water pressure and a number of other functions (listed below), as well as stop the pivot, control the end gun, change speed based on GPS position. You can also start most brands of pivots, but may need to add some additional hardware to your existing control panel.
